Full Professor, consultant surgeon, BRESO-certified breast surgeon under the auspices of the European Society of Surgical Oncology, European examiner in the field of breast surgery. I work at the Medical University of Lodz and Warsaw Medical University, Cancer Center, Breast Unit. I have been educated in the field of oncological, oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery in breast cancer patients on four continents: in Europe (universities in Poland, as well as the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Careggi University in Florence, Institute of Oncology in Amsterdam), Asia (Institute of Oncology in Tokyo), North America (Mayo Clinic Rochester and MSKCC in New York) and South America (University of Rio de Janeiro). Winner of awards from the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) and the European Society of Breast Specialists (EUSOMA). I have served on the Board of ESSO and currently on the Board of the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology and Executive Committee of the European Board of Breast Surgery. Lecturer in Poland and around the world. Author of numerous scientific articles and textbooks. Co-organizer of many pro bono events for breast cancer patients: dance classes, music concerts, theater, literature and photography workshops in the process of convalescence after complex oncological treatment.
