Ramsey Cutress is Professor of Breast Surgery in Southampton. His research interests include patient determinants of breast cancer outcomes including genetic predisposition, nutritional, immunological and lifestyle factors. He is lead investigator for the EndoNET randomised trial of neo-adjuvant endocrine therapy in breast cancer, and a member of the POSH study research team investigating sporadic and hereditary breast cancer in young women. He serves as topic advisor for the NICE Breast Cancer Guidelines, is breast sub-specialty editor for the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) Clinical Practice and Standards Committee.
