Dear Colleagues,

Oncoplastic surgery has grown tremendously over the last two decades. Yet, no conference has brought together plastic and breast surgeons—until last year. Our first Brussels Onco & Oncoplastic Breast Surgery (BOOBS) Symposium was to discuss the latest advancements in primary breast cancer surgery with reconstruction. Approaches vary widely, shaped by facilities, socioeconomic factors, and individual surgeon perspectives. The feedback of the participants including the international faculty was overwhelming which encourage us to keep going in this unique venture.

The conference will feature diverse panels and sessions, including the following topics:

·      Fat grafting in the 21st century

·      Extreme Oncoplastic surgery

·      Hereditary breast cancer

·      The future of oncology and surgery

·      Sequalae of breast conservative surgery

·      Complications of breast Implant reconstruction

·      Successful program for free flaps and how to manage complications.

·      Robotic microsurgery

Discussions will cover the latest scientific advancements, innovations to reduce surgical morbidity, and strategies to enhance aesthetic outcomes. Additionally, the event will serve as a global platform for breast fellowships.

Last and not least the famous BOOBS champions cup between breast and plastic surgery.

All this will unfold in a relaxed atmosphere, blending science and education seamlessly.
